Hard lumps

Occasional hard poos can occur, especially in formula-fed babies or when babies are introduced to solid foods. If the hard poos are painful to pass or persist overtime, this could be a sign of constipation. Please speak to your healthcare professional for advice. Do not give any medication, oral supplements, or other remedies to your baby unless advised by your healthcare professional.

Green

Green poos occur frequently in babies that take iron-supplements. Green poos can also be common with Extensively Hydrolysed Formulas due to faster transit time through the gut and exposure to bile acid. Dark green poos are generally not a cause for concern. This is not a medical assessment or diagnosis. It is general information only. Always seek the advice of your healthcare professional.
